VanRidge Garden Club meets 3rd Mondays each month (except November & December meetings are 2nd Mondays), at 801 N.E. 194th Street, Ridgefield, Washington, just north of Vancouver. Our club mission is to:
1) Perform community services to enhance and better our community. 2) Aid in conservation of native flora, beautification of area. 3) Grow in gardening creativity, knowledge, and skill. 4) Develop horticulture, flower culture. 5) Learn flower design and flower show participation. 6) Encourage exchange of seeds, plants and trees.
During our business meetings, we report on a variety of garden-related items such as horticulture, birds, herbs, etc. We have a program which could be a professional speaker or our own members sharing a variety of topics and talents. Our meetings are rounded out with a social hour with a potluck lunch.
